Dear members,

The journey to launch the Free White Belt program started way back in December 2008, with the launch of the world's only Online FREE Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification Course.

The program was launched by KINDUZ Consulting in association with Computer Society of India, Hyderabad Chapter; as a community initiative.

When the team launched the course, it was a humble launch, not knowing what to expect.

Over the last two years 1,639 users from over 44 countries took benefit of the course without any major marketing effort. Most of the users who came in were because of word of mouth.

We received a lot of requests to launch the Yellow Belt and other higher belt programs as well. However the initial team that created the first module could not find the required time from their busy schedules.

Having realized the potential impact this can have on the community and also motivated by Dr. Mashelkar's concept of Gandhian engineering, we wanted to take this initiative forward.

We realized that taking this forward would mean, having an independent organization with full-time resources dedicated to this initiative. Overall we wanted this to be:

- A people's initiative
- Non-profit
- Low cost and high value
- That can reach out to millions of people around of world

As we discussed this with industry leaders around the world, we starting strategizing on how to take this forward and what is the best structure to put in place. After a lot of discussions, thought and effort, LASSIB was formed in November 2010.

As we write this article, the entire structure is being put in place. Not to forget the content, which is the toughest part.

Dear Friends!

Over the last 1 year over 1500 professionals from around the world have made good use of the FREE Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification Program. We have received wonderful feedback and accolades for the same.

We would like to announce that starting October 1st the certification process will be stopped. The course will continue to be free, however certificates will no longer be issued. The certification process will start in a different format, which will be announced soon.

All the users who have completed or who will be completing their course before the deadline will receive the Course Completion Certificates.

Users can still access the Course Material online but we will be coming up with a different model for the certification process.

This is an audio and video program on Luxury Brands in the Retail Industry by Mr. Vijay Kumar, CEO, Indigo Retail. He has over 35 years of global IT industry experience. Vijay has devoted 12-years to international Retailing industry in establishing systems, procedures and MIS gained in over 240-outlets. More than 3-years were dedicated to launch an exclusive line of American computer gaming software in the Arabian Gulf (6-countries) via a flag-ship concept store in Dubai & 17-Shop-in-Shop outlets and 9-Reseller Showrooms in the UAE.

Similarly we are hoping that others would come up with similar courses / programs so that we can put them up on the KINDUZ eLearning Portal.
